The EcoBoost is the base trim, then we move up to the EcoBoost Premium, GT, GT Premium and the well-awaited Bullitt trim is out final Mustang trim. If you are looking for a Mustang convertible than you need to exclude the base GT and Bullitt trims from consideration. Overall, Mustang is an excellent sports car, so if you’re looking for an impressively stylish well-rounded vehicle, the Mustang is definitely the way to go.
Well, what’s to say here? FM has an eye-catching, very cool and iconic style. You won’t be mistaking Ford Mustang with any other car on the road. Plus, the head-turning awesome colors can be boosted with the exclusive Ford stripes.
Ford always offers a bit of retro-stilling to add to the overall Mustang experience, without taking from tech and functionality. Mustang interior has quality materials throughout, all of the controls are thoughtfully placed. Upfront the cabin doesn’t have that cramped sports car feel, it actually feels spacious, the back, unfortunately, has very limited space. Overall Mustang has a very stylish pleasant interior; you can see the quality, the craftsmanship, the design, the fun.
The 2019 Ford Mustang performance is highly praised, and rightfully so. Car is very comfortable and equally easy to drive on the track and on your way to a Sunday brunch. Engine-wise: you have your choice of Mustang EcoBoost models which represent the turbocharged 2.3-liter 4-cylinder 310 hp engine generation trims. Then we have the 5-liter in the GT models with 460 hp and the long-awaited Bullitt is equipped with same 5.0 engine generating 475 hp. 2019 Mustang comfortably seats two, though it is a two-plus-two car. A couple of trims, especially the track designed ones do not have a second row of seats. The front row seats are extremely comfortable and are manually adjusted. Back seats aren’t comfortable, at all, but they do fold if needed. All of the seats are upholstered with a high-quality cloth material. Of course, you can boost your trim to heated seats, ventilated ones or with leather upholstery. Storage and Space
The Mustang offers a bit more cargo space than most the competition, but, let’s be honest: it’s not a full-size crossover. Meaning, you’ll be able to fit maybe two bags in the trunk, but only if you don’t want the awesome new sound system.
Mustang is a muscle car with the highest level of comfort for the driver and the front-seat passenger.
Front seats are very comfortable with a very generous amount of legroom. The seats have proven to provide lumbar support and can be comfortably positioned for both tall and short drivers. The backs seats are cramped and hard to excess, thus uncomfortable.
The Mustang provides a very smooth pleasant ride. A major drawback that takes away from the overall comfort – it is a very noisy ride.
The bumpy ride complaints were finally addressed by Ford this year and we are happy to state: most of the road bumps now go unnoticed from now on. Overall, for a muscle car, the Mustang is surprisingly a mix of comfort and quality.
Safety & Reliability
The NHTSA gave the FX solid 5 stars ratings on the frontal and side crash, rollover and overall safety.
